Dr Thura graduated in 2007 and undertook dual fellowship training in Endocrinology and General Medicine in Western Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCP). During his specialist training, he obtained Membership qualification and MRCP (Endocrinology and Diabetes) from the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom.
He is appointed as a Consultant Endocrinologist and Acute Care Physician at Royal Perth Hospital and Rockingham General Hospital. He also provides an outpatient specialist consultation service and individualised holistic treatment plans for all patients with endocrine related conditions. He has extensive experience in all aspects of general endocrinology and diabetes management. In addition to his clinical work, he enjoys teaching physician trainees and junior doctors.
