After graduating in 2007, Dr. Thura completed dual fellowship training in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine in Western Australia. He is a distinguished Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCP). Additionally, he holds the prestigious MRCP (Endocrinology and Diabetes) qualification from the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom.
Dr. Thura is currently appointed as the Head of Endocrinology and Diabetes Services and Consultant Endocrinologist at Rockingham General Hospital, as well as an Acute Medicine Consultant at Royal Perth Hospital.
In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Thura serves as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia and is a local examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Fellowship Examination. Passionate about medical education, he mentors physician trainees and junior doctors, helping to shape the next generation of medical professionals.
